OVERVIEW ♡:
Fifteen-year-old Charlie is coping with the suicide of his friend, Michael. To lessen the fear and anxiety of starting high school alone, Charlie starts writing letters to a stranger, someone he heard was nice but has never met in person. At school, Charlie finds a friend and mentor in his English teacher, Bill. He also overcomes his chronic shyness and approaches a classmate, Patrick, who, along with his step-sister Sam, become two of Charlie's BFFs. Charlie hopes to get out of his head and into the real world, participating in life instead of just watching it fly by.

PRICE ♡: 7/10
I originally bought this off eBay so it was quite a bit cheaper than in the shops however for Region 4 (which is Australia) it cost like $30 so I had to get a different region, but I got it for $13. In shops I think it is around $25.

VERDICT ♡: 8.5/10
I love this movie so much and in my opinion is one of the greatest movies I have ever seen! It is so well produced and the cast is amazing! Every actor portrays each character extremely well! I loved every second of it and it always threw something new. The only downside was they missed a few key parts from the book but other than that... AMAZING!!!!

PRICE ♡:
This book was quite dear because I bought it from the book store. It was around $22 however I did find it in Big W for $13. I'm not sure if that was the book of the movie or not but when I went back to get it, there were none left so I bought it from the store. Personally I think the price is worth it.
 
VERDICT ♡:
This book was fabulous! Although there was only 231 pages it felt like it went forever, not in a bad way either! I felt like I wanted it to keep going! There were some parts which were a tad disturbing so be prepared to read that but I didn't mind that much. I loved the format of writing in letters because it just made it seem a lot more realistic. I also loved the theme of the 90's it was just fabulous!
 
WHICH WAS BETTER? ♥
I personally believe the book was better because there were parts that the movie didn't include which were quite important to the story. However this didn't make any difference to the quality of the movie which was amazing! I also loved watching Logan Lerman cause lets face it.. he's wonderful!
 
OVERALL: ♥
I recommend that everyone who has not seen this movie or read this book needs to go do it pronto! It is an amazing story and you wont regret it! Go. Now.

I finished this book a week or so ago and I absolutely loved it! It was such an amazing book, and the first thriller I've ever read, so it was really great!
 
SUMMARY ♥;

"okay." And then she looks at me curiously.
"So, were you glad, deep down? Were you glad to be rid of her? Your perfect sister? Were you secretly glad when she was killed?"
Katherine has moved away from her shattered family to start afresh in Sydney. There she keeps her head down until she is befriended by the charismatic, party-loving Alice, who brings her out of her shell. But there is a dark side to Alice, something seductive yet threatening. And as Katherine learns the truth about Alice, their tangled destinies spiral to an explosive and devastating finale.

VERDICT ♥; 9.5/10
My friend, Claire recommended this book to me and at first I was a little hesitant as I'd never read a thriller before, but boy, did that all change! I fell in love with most of the characters and ah, they were so entertaining! This book is from three different POV's; Katherine before her sister died, Katherine after her sister died, and Katherine after she's had a baby. It'll make more sense when you read the book. Oh my god this plot kept me on the edge of my seat! And the end of the book, wow, oh wow! It was unexpected and amazing! I can't even do justice talking about this book, you need to read it, pronto.

Okay so lately I have had this problem so if you have your not the only one! There is this guy in my class, lets call him Simon. He always talks and smiles at me! He put his head on my desk and always comes to my desk! He has gotten into trouble like heaps if times for talking to me! And he told me to sit next to him on the bus! My friend says he likes me so much but I really don't know! Please comment with what you think! :) Anyway...
 
There are three types of signs...
 
The omnipresent:
 
- He will always be exceptionally glad to see you, wherever, whenever.
- He'll give you a huge smile that will reach his eyes when he sees you.
- He'll touch your arm, or even put his arm around you.
- He'll lean towards you while having a conversation.
- Even when you are in a group, he will face you and sit or stand.
- No matter how many people are present you will have all his attention.
- He'll put his arm on the back or the arm of the chair that you're sitting on.
- He'll always want to hug you when he meets you.
- No guy can ever disguise his feelings if you look him straight in the eye. If he likes you, he will always try to make eye contact with you.
- A rather shy guy might look away if you catch him looking at you.
- If he's the playful and mischievous kind, he might even sneak in a wink or two when you look at him.
 
The perfect gentleman:
 
- When a guy likes a girl, he's generally at his best behavior around her.
- Chivalry is not dead, girls. If he likes you he will open the door for you and hold out your chair if you go out.
- He will pay or insist on paying if the two of you go out.
- He will try to refrain from using any kind of profanity and swearing at anyone/anything when he's around you.
- He will be protective about you and will look out for you while walking.
- He will hold your hand while crossing the road and will most probably stand up when you enter the room.g
 
The honest companion:
 
- He is himself when you are around, which means he is really comfortable with you.
- He truly appreciates the good in you and subtly hints at the not-so-good.
- He celebrates his achievements with you and comes to you for encouragement when he feels dejected.
- He supports you and encourages you in every important task you undertake.

Suicide is a rising problem among young adults. It is caused by often traumatic events such as; the loss of a loved one, bullying (especially cyber bullying) and many more.
 
Here are 6 easy steps to help you really consider what you're doing.
 
- Think about it. Are the problems that you want to end by suicide that awful and permanent that nothing could get rid of them? Although you may not think so now, you will recover from your problem or problems and live out the rest of your life happily. There are no problems in this world that can be solved by suicide.
 
- When you are thinking rationally, try to think of solutions to your troubles that will help ease the hurt you're going through. The person attempting suicide doesn't truly want to die -- instead they just want the pain to stop.
 
- If there's someone who cares about you, you should talk to them about your suicidal thoughts. Many people have experienced thoughts of suicide, it would be a good idea to talk to one of those people to get over it.
 
- Will your decision affect others? While the pain may have stopped for you. The amount of grief that your relatives will feel will last their lifetime. Do you want your pain to go with them for the rest of their life's? Or would you rather work it out and get rid of the pain from your life altogether?
 
- You are the owner of your life, of which you only get one. Your existence is special. Why don't you leave that thing, situation, or problem which forces you to finish your life. And start a new life in a new place with new people in a new place.
 
- If you're really close to committing suicide it might be a good idea to admit yourself to some kind of hospital where they can monitor and stop you from killing yourself and keep you safe so you don't become a victim of suicide.
 
A SUICIDE STORY:
 

A young man and his sister were new to school and kept to themselves much of the time. In the middle of the school year, his classmates received the devastating news that his father had hung himself.
 
For weeks, he walked quietly into class, without speaking or looking at anyone. He didn't appear to be sad. He almost seemed to be at peace. However, after several weeks had passed, his classmates received tragic news that the young man himself was found hanged. Apparently, his father's suicide impacted him more deeply than anyone could know or understand.

So if you are close to committing suicide or even if you just have occasional thoughts... I urge you so much to talk to someone close to you whether it be your siblings, parents or a therapist. I honestly don't want any of you to feel like you need to take your own life because your all special, each and every one of you! No one can ever replace you because you are who you are.. You impact on everyone who you are around and even though you may not notice nothing can change that, even if you decide to leave this world you will still leave a tremendous impact on someone!

Most studies show that aliens are not going to invade earth. This is firstly because there is nothing on Earth they could possibly want. In terms of resources, there is nothing unique about Earth. Anything you could possibly want that is on Earth, could easily be found elsewhere in the galaxy and wouldn't require the need to wipe out any other beings on their home planet.
 
Secondly, scientists believe that no life form could live on any other planet except Earth and if they're not already here then they don't exist.
 
The only possible reason why our existence would be threatened would be if their planet became over-populated, our planet might be a tempting place to move in. This would only make sense, however, if they were incredibly similar to our biology. Even in this case, they would probably have many options rather than invading.
 
If they do attack, however, they would probably take out the whole world with their advanced weaponry as we can hardly even create a machine to take us to the moon and back.
 
So, all in all, the chance of aliens invading is very remote and will most likely never happen! So put away your potato guns and sleep easy!

Hey lovelies,
So as I promised here is my set about what I did on camp! So I have to say camp was amazing! I had such a great time, so heres what I did.
 
High ropes - these were 14 meters above the ground and you go up in harnesses. First you walk up on a ladder then pegs. Then you get to a playform and walk along.
I did the cable ropes where there is one for your legs and one your your hands that was easy, then the balls you have to hold onto the rope and swing em around your head and the triangles where you had no ropes just triangles you put your feet in!
 
Archery - I got a bullseye and bruised fingers damn it hurts!
 
Giant swing - These massive swing you get harnessed into and its 15 meters above the ground, everyone pulls you up and you pull a cable and it rips, you drop and swing heaps fast. Its freakazoid!
 
Leap of faith - Climb A pole 15 meters high with nothing to hold onto you get to the top and jump off onto this bar. I went up the first time and she said hold onto the rope so I did and fell backwards and smashed into the pole! Then the second time I got up and jumped but missed the bar by a smidge :(
 
Capture the flag - this was so fun cause we played it in the forrest!
 
Marshmallow tower - build the biggest tower of marshmallows and raw spaghettini!
 
INJURIES (If u know me, u know I'm so clumsy)
- bruise under my eye (leap of faith, smashing into pole)
- 3 bruises on my leg (leap of faith, smashing into pole)
- Scratches on my arm (leap of faith, smashing into pole)
- mozzie bites
- also nearly fell over ten times during capture the flag!
 
All in all 9/10. 1 was taken off cause the bathroom was disgusting! There was mud and dead bugs all over the floor and I mean all over it!

Oh my goodness I just wrote this tip and it didn't publish it so I had to write again! Anyway this is my next tip in my camping series! I will make a set about my trip soon! :) Anyway onto the tip! Again!

INGREDIENTS ♡:
- Pack of marshmallows
- Block of either white, milk or dark choccie
- Pack of graham crackers, crushed
 
EQUIPMENT ♡:
- Sterilized skewers
- Microwave safe bowl
- Spoon
 
METHOD ♡:
1. Gather your ingredients, duh!
2. Thread two marshmallows onto the end of each skewer.
3. Break up the chocolate into squares (the smaller you break them, the quicker they melt) place them in the bowl and microwave for 30 seconds then stir.
4. If chocolate is not melted after 30 seconds, repeat step 3.
5. Dip the top marshmallow in chocolate quickly before the chocolate sets. Repeat for each skewer.
6. Roll each skewer in crushed graham crackers.
7. ENJOY!
 
NOTES ♡:
• Chocolate can also be melted by being placed in a heatproof bowl above a saucepan of boiling water on the stove. I just find the microwave option easier!
• Sticks can also be taken to a campfire and the marshmallows can be roasted! Yum!
 
CAUTIONS ♡:
- DO NOT leave the chocolate in for more than 30 seconds at a time or it may burn.
- DO NOT use a metal bowl in the microwave.
- Be careful threading marshmallows.

First I borrowed this movie from the DVD store for about $2 then I thought it was amazing so I bought it for about $17 but that was because I bought it on bluray so on DVD it would be around $13?
 
VERDICT ♡: 10/10
I absolutely love this movie! Its one of my favourites of all time. I love the plot of the movie and the thrilling twists that you don't see coming! It definitely keeps you guessing! I have seen this movie like 12 times and still I'm not bored of it! :)

Hi Everyone,
Breanne here. I know we've been doing a lot of movie reviews lately so we're sorry about that, but who doesn't love movies? Horrible Bosses is one of my all time favourite movies so here's a review!
 
OVERVIEW ♥:
For Nick, Kurt and Dale, the only thing that would make the daily grind more tolerable would be to grind their intolerable bosses into dust. Quitting is not an option, so, with the benefit of a few too many drinks and some dubious advice from a hustling ex-con, the three friends devise a seemingly foolproof plan to rid themselves of their respective employers... permanently. There's only one problem, even the best-laid plans are only as foolproof as the brains behind them.
 
PRICE ♥: 9/10
We bought this for $10.00 from a video store which was really good! It should be pretty cheap wherever you buy it from as it's not a newer movie.
 
VERDICT ♥: 10/10
Nick's boss is a psycho, Kurt's boss is a tool and Dale's boss is a man-eater, and Dale's engaged! This movie is honestly one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. The twist and turn of evens will keep you laughing through the whole movie! My favourite part of the movie is when Dale's sitting in the car by himself and he's high and he's singing loudly along to the radio, very funny! The movie has a great cast and it's definitely worth seeing! It will definitely keep you laughing!
